Almost there! Ready to go camping???

This year's Stampede Campout is at the same place in Devore that we have been to in the past, right where the 15 and 215 Freeways meet. From Chino, take 15 Freeway North, exit Glen Helen Parkway, exit to the right (east), then up over the hill, entrance will be on the right.

Menu will be (mealtimes are approximate):

1. Friday Dinner- Bring your own

2. Saturday Breakfast-7am

        Breakfast burritos, hash browns, sausage, milk, orange juice    
     

3.  Saturday lunch-11:30

        Sandwiches, chips, fruit punch, lemonade
     

4.   Saturday dinner-5:30-6:00

         Marinated chicken, potato salad, chips, punch, lemonade
    

5.   Sunday breakfast  - 7am

         Donuts, muffins, juice, milk
 

     You can arrive as early as noon on Friday, Sept 23rd, and as late as 10pm. Most will probably arrive Saturday, which is fine, but you may miss some of the opening ceremonies and activities.

     We have a Scout with SEVERE peanut allergies. Please refrain from bringing anything with peanuts, thank you. Read the ingredients label on ANY food you bring. If it contains peanuts, or even peanut DUST, LEAVE IT AT HOME.

      Boys need to bring Class A and Class B uniforms, as well as a towel and swimtrunks - for the waterpark.

      Bring a tent for your family, sleeping bags, pillows, lantern, if you have one, and changes of clothes. The Pack will provide food and drinks (feel free to bring an ice chest with your own drinks (Gatorades, frappuccinos, etc. Please limit sodas). Please bring your own water bottle - like the ones you use on bicycles - to fill with water, lemonade, fruit punch, etc. This will cut waste in our campsite.

        The forecast is for temps in the 70's, so the nights may be chilly. Be sure to bring a jacket and blankets.

        VIDEO GAMES, ALCOHOL AND TOBACCO IN ANY FORM ARE PROHIBITED BY SCOUT RULES. Due to Council rules, there will NOT be a campfire. Sorry. 

       There will be rock climbing, rope bridges, canoeing, fishing, bb gun shooting, archery, and many other activities.

       Be prepared to have a lot of fun! It's gonna be a blast!!
